Jeffrey Stokol
         
Jeffrey Stokol was
born in Johannesburg, South Africa. Attended JHB High school of
art. After graduating spent six months working for South African
Broadcast Corp. doing TV News Graphics. He went on to School of
Visual Arts in NYC. Where he acquired his BFA in Illustration
and minor in Fine-Arts and Photography. In 1986 he jump started
his professional art career, by doing a full wall Mural of an
automotive motif in Santa Clara, California. He followed that
short after by launching his compute graphics career for the
P.C. game company Spectrum HoloByte. After ten years in
interactive work for Apple Developers, he returned to the the
game industry to work for Electronic Arts. In 1996 his move to
the Internet industry was a natural course for his skill level.
Working for a youth sports site, he was able to tap into his
technical skills and art background. Today he works as a
freelance Painter and web developer, specializing in HTML,
JavaScript, and not forgetting a more versatile graphic skill
set. His Forte is experiential art that captures his technique
that is subject motivated. Whether it be pen and ink line art,
or airbrush on acrylic, you will find a variety of samples in
each style. What he wants to do for you, is capture all this, or
part thereof, in a project that will stretch him, to become more
versatile and an asset in the outcome any endeavors he takes on.
