Ramirez/Tom Edo Hailing from Riverside CA, and relocating to San
Francisco In order to study illustration, then printmaking. With
influences of Pop-art, Native Pacific Northwest art, comics and
the concept of pattern as brain stimuli. Cameron Ramirez is
interest in pushing the notion that a cartoon image can be as
multilayered and intelligent as any realistic or abstract image;
that icons and the concept of beauty through a simplicity is
more mentally stimulating then a "challenging" piece from hacks
that have no real emotional connection to there work or their
viewer.
